About Julie

Julie Hadden was one of the most memorable and successful contestants on the hit NBC reality show, “The Biggest Loser.”

Even as a child of God, she dealt with her excessive weight and low self-worth for most of her life.  Her emotional battle with obesity was a private struggle that suddenly became very public and was chronicled before millions of television viewers each week.

The process helped Julie shed nearly 100 pounds (45% of her body weight) but the transformation was far more than physical.  God revitalized her body, mind and spirit and has given her a powerful message to share about the enormous value and worth within each of us; given to us by our Creator.

Julie relies on her classic humor and penetrating candor as she offers audiences of all shapes and sizes an intimate portrayal of a woman who faced her demons head-on and through the transforming Power of Christ emerged victorious and forever changed.  She marries introspection with inspiration and endears her audience to her firsthand experience while motivating them to make healthy changes of their own and most importantly to embrace their God-given value and worth.

Julie has been a guest on The Hour of Power, The 700 Club, The Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live and made numerous other national television appearances.  But her heart is truly passionate about ministering to women and she’s passionate about sharing her moving and anointed message of hope and worth.

She is the author of the book, “Fat Chance, Losing the Weight, Gaining My Worth”. But her most precious role is that of wife and mother of two sons.
